flamed maple oud

hi guys, another oud is in the build...
this one will be a flamed maple body with western cedar soundboard and rosettes.
rosewood puflings between the ribs.
I will aim for an authentic real arabic (eastern) sound and look.

Stunningly beautiful. The craftsmanship looks exquisite. Is the purfling dyed pear? or ebony?
That's an amazing looking instrument.

The between ribs purfling is rosewood, 0.8 mm.
same for the small rosettes.
