woman's oud wanted
I have a regular-sized oud and am finding the bowl is too deep for me to comfortably play, i.e., my right arm and shoulder get sore. I am a beginning
student but very eager to continue to learn. I would like to buy a good quality instrument that would fit me better than what I have.

Dear Carol,
I think I may have the perfect oud for you. It is a slightly shorter scale Turkish oud with a 57cm string length, and the bowl is a bit shallower
than a typical oud. The body is of a beautiful Mahogany and Wenge, with Spruce top and extended Ebony fingerboard.
I will U2U you a video link (sorry for the low lighting), and I can email you more pictures and information if you like. As you will hear, though it
is a bit smaller, it has a big sound and great tone.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,
Mavrothi

This oud I just made I made is fairly small, comfortable and suitable for women because the bowl width is 34.8cm, its also shallowed at only 19.0cm
