Abdelhamid Haddad, he has been discussed several times on the boards if you do a search.
Though I believe Brahem's oud is mainly a Gamil Georges that Haddad replaced the soundboard on, so a bit of a hybrid.

may be you are right ... the oud he plays in all videos of the last decade (or longer),always the same, looks very "homogen", not really like a
Hybrid, but may be, Haddad found the rightn Design for the added Soundboard.
The sound that made me fall in love with oud were the early records of Anouar Brahem on ECM label ... So, playing the oud since 2012, I'm trying to
find a similar sounding Instrument.
That's so difficult because I know, that the sound on a record is designed and may be far away from the analog and pure reality ...
Also I recognized, that the same oud may sound very differend in an other room or space ...
So, the search has to go on ...
