tunning letters
when someone posts the tuning letters like g a d g c some times they put it in caps what does that mean?

Hi,
Usually when an open string note is written in caps, it means that it is a lower, or bass note. So a typical Arabic tuning from lowest string to highest is: C F A d g c. A typical Turkish tuning is: E A B e a d.
