As a performing musician, composer and psychiatrist, New York-based E.H. has developed more than just an individual style or touch over the past 15 years; he conceives of music as a language that transcends passing cultures and trends.
An exceptionally rich upbringing exposed him to the musical greats while also introducing him to the violin, guitar, lutes and various percussion instruments. Immersed in both classical music as well as the traditional oriental music of his native Iran, his repertoire also spans the music of the Mediterranean as well as the schools of Jazz and Flamenco. While a medical student in France, E.H. also pursued his musical career as a soloist, guest musician and leader of several groups. Shortly thereafter, he was called upon to compose music for television and the cinema, applying his mastered styles like a prism—opening infinite creative possibilities.
On the ud, his masters were Necati Celik and Yurdal Tokcan. |
