Hi oudies ,
yesterday my house was crowded with christmas-cookies-baking-girls, so I had to hide for a few hours and spend the free time recording a clip.
I used a ambience loop for the background,my turkish oud,a irish metal flute in the middle and my arabic oud at the end.
The soundquality is a bit rough, only first takes and to close to the mic.
I really do apollogize for this!!
The pictures are some impressions of a trip to Istanbul.
Thanks Greg ... and thanks Marcus ... I like it very much, both the slide show and the music.Sazi - 11-23-2009 at 02:40 PM
Hey Marcus, very nice, you'll have to invite the baking girls over more often!

It's got a great "loopy gait", the instruments go well together, I like it a lot. Is this in a specific maqam, or minor key noodlin' or a folk motif,
or you own theme?
Who am I to talk, but being proactively apologetic is not a good way to present material. There's nothing wrong with this piece, only a professional
can even sort out what is what.
