actually yes...
I want to learn to play makam on this (just a little bit for fun of course --- I like the feeling of taking a new instrument because the learning
curve is very rapid, and it is a nice antidote to struggling to improve on an old instrument)...
but I have no idea what I am doing at all!
I hear that Turks tune the violin same as Europe - G-D-A-E ...so how you going to play in KIZ with this!!!? using B as the tonic for bayati!
