help with yemeny music cd´s (ali al semah)

Hi,

I've never found more than a few Yemeni music CDs, all published in the West (I did a quick search of "Yemeni music" on Amazon.com and think I saw all of them). I don't know that current state of recording in Yemen, since no recordings at all seem to be finding their way to the Yemeni markets in the San Francisco Bay Area in the last 5 or 6 years. In the past, it was all cassettes.

There was a lot of Yemeni music at http://www.azaalcity.com/yemenmusic.htm, but the site seems to be down.

I'll keep looking for resources and note anything I find.
