Hi everyone,
I haven't posted anything in a long time, but I wanted to share some of the new tracks from my group, Okbari Middle Eastern Ensemble...The instrumentation is oud, violin, flutes, daff, and vocals...let me know what you think, and all the best...

no one here into Turkish music? Just kidding...I'm just curious what you guys think!

I liked them. I've heard both songs more in the folk music context (Erkan Ogur and Ismail Demircioglu) but these are interesting renditions. Thanks for sharing.

Well played and nicely produced, easy on the ear.

Well done:applause:

thanks guys, any Turks on the board have any comments? I know my Turkish isn't perfect, but I would love to know the thoughts of someone who grew up with this music...

Sorry Amos, can't help you with the Turkish perspective, but to my ear it's beautifully pulled off. Well done.
