Guys i thought to share this with you.
Bezmara Ensemble performing "Huseyni Sazende Semaisi" in the legendary setting of St. Irini in Istanbul.
Please note that the majority of the instruments played had not been used since the 18th century, but they had been rebuilt for the purpose of
reviving this sort of Ottoman Imperial Court Music.
This semai and well others are amongst the pieces composed by the famous Turkish musician in the 16th century "Ali Ufki", so basically this semai
dates back more than 400 years ago.
