Hi guys,
I just got my WORLD MUSIC INSTITUTE schedule for 2004-5. The concerts I think we'd all be most interested in are scheduled many months from now, but
it's best we know early b/c tickets always go fast.

- Peter Norton Symphony Space - B'way at 95th St
Masters of Persian Music - M. R. Shajarian, Hossein Alizadeh, Kayhan Kalhor - March 6, 13, 2005 - Jazz at Lincoln Center/F. P. Rose
Hall - B'way at 60th St.
Romeiko Ensemble - Byzantine Chant & Turkish Sufi Music - December 11, 2004 - St. Mary's Times Square - 145 W. 46th St.
Sacred Kurdish Tanbur Music - Ali Akbar Moradi - November 20, 2004 - Peter Norton Symphony Space - B'way at 95th St.
The Music of Marcel Khalife - November 13, 2004 - Town Hall, 123 W. 43rd St.
Hope I see you there,

Mavro,
That is great news man! I am definitely thinking about flying east for the Farido/Asmahan performance. Can I crash at your place for the weekend?
Seeya,
Mike

Hehehe,
Like I said brother, you can crash here, and I'd be happy to spot your ticket for you too. It'll be great to see you my man. Also,
it's a pretty nice occasion, to see Mr. Shaheen and company playing this great music.
Take care,
mav

Sounds like a great concert. I wish it had been a week later (the concert falls right at the end of Great Week--for us Christians that follow the
Orthodox calendar). Oh well, maybe someone will record it.

I didn't even think of that Jameel, I'll have to check the dates...
