Nice one Looks like it was a great day and a lot of fun!
I feel for you, I always feel a bit intimidated when the audience knows the tunes better than me

Oh, very crowdy audience!
I really like the sound of the oud\ very deep and warm..
The HIjaz tune you played is the first MIdlle eastern tune I ever listened to because one of my favourite italian sing-song writers (Franco Battiato)
sung it in one of his albums (-:http://www.mikeouds.com/messageboard/images/smilies/wink.gif

crowdy audience is right...typical middle eastern audience haha
nonetheless, beautiful oud playing...very nice pieces

Thanks, it could have been a lot better but we practiced 30 minutes of stuff in 1 week. I didn't know 3/4 of the doulabs and songs before that..
Anyways, my oud is a Nazih Ghadban and the Hijaz doulab I found under hijaz in maqamworld.. Played by George Abayd.
Cheers Fadi

@fhalaw
Nice performance guys, i really liked it.
Who made you your oud? It sounded so great.
However the audience should had been more respectful towards you.
If i were you i would have broken my oud on the head of somebody from the crown
