I'm Tunisian women 27 years old, i play piano and classical guitar i sing in Arabic Turkish Spanish french and English fluently, started to play oud
last year but not good enough to perform, looking for an oud player in Vancouver ( in Vancouver downtown), i have already friends playing guitars,
Turkish saz and piano and Arabic percussion (Darbouka), but i find an oud player, and want to play for casual occasions and fun not as professional,
I'll appreciate the help, thanks

There is a well-regarded Iranian oud (barbat) player in Vancouver, BC, Hossein Behroozinia http://www.behroozinia.com/ The Persian Dastgah system is different from Arabic Maqam, but he might be able to work with you.
If he can't help you, try contacting oud luthier Richard Hankey, who lives in Vancouver, Washington, USA, and would probably know all of the serious
