Yo,
Im off to greece next week for vacation.
I will be in Athens for sometime and apart from looking for pretty greeks ouds, such as from Dimitris Rapakousios' workshop, I want find a bouzouki
for my friend.
I found a website with a list of bouzouki luthiers in athens. Could anybody recommend any of these makers, or recommend any other places to find a bouzouki
in athens?
How much should one expect to pay for a reasonable bouzouki? By reasonable I mean the bouzouki-equivalent of an entry level sukar model 1, i.e.
something that is well made, sounds good, and will last.
What points should somebody look for when trying the bouzouki? I assume string action is relevant here, but are there any other important
characteristics that can help distinguish lesser bouzouki?
Cheers
