HI all
Just wondering...
Has anyone made an attempt to capture Soumbati's taqsim Nahawand on paper i.e. sheet music?

I've been working on the Bayati taqsim - it's a great excercise to learn about modulations, as well as general technique!

I should have mentioned that four of the taqsims transcribed in the paper are available on the Oudism page in RealAudio format.

HI SM
Thanks for that.
His taqsim are truly wonderful. I listen to them most days . I'm particularly interested in his Nahawand, Hijaz kar (can't get enough of HK) and
Rast.
Cheers
