Hi,
I live in an area between Limoges, Bordeaux and Toulouse in SW France, and I would like to buy a fine quality oud.

Hello,
If you like you can visit me. I am in germany near Mulhouse. Actually I do have 3 different Instruments made by me here in my workshop. Another one
will be ready before easter, it will be my new floating bridge model, and furthermore another traditional model after a Sunbat der Bedrossion from
1940 will be ready. I think fife professional instruments make it worth to make the trip.
Hope I meet you soon

Salut,

Hello,
so it will be first your decicion weather you like to have a turkish style oud, which sounds like the files Franck mentioned or if you like to have an
arabic style oud, which sounds like Munir Bashir played or his son Omar is playing now or with the style of Naseer Shamma. Of that style my new model
will be. Or if you like more the traditional style of oud like the old Nahats sound. A instrument by me in this style ( made after an Sunbat der
Bedrossian from 1940 ) you can hear through my website played by Adel Salameh from Lyon.
By the way, this year again for the second time I will offer here in my town a workshopweekend with Adel Salameh for the oud and other teachers for
different arabic instruments. I will soon publish that event here through this forum. May be thats of interest for you.
All the best
Matthias

Bonjour Mascun,
If you search a very high quality oud, you'll have to try it before buying it. Don't buy it online.
