Dear Friends,
let me bring this "1st Oriental summer academie Badenweiler" back into your mind. If you are interested to take part
let me know this and I will send you the workshopinformations by mail or post.
At the workshops you have the possibility to try out different instruments of my various aoud models, around 3 - 5 instruments will be there.

Dear friends,
the first concert of the "oriental summer academy Badenweiler" has passed now. For guests we have had here at the 21st of august the
famous german actor Eva Mattes and the french trio "Rissala". Eva Mattes has read some narratives fom the stories of 1001 nights. She
has brought them to us with her wonderful warm and pleasant voice. The mood of their selection was phantastically transformed into music by Naziha
Azzouz, voice - Adel Salameh, aoud - Adel Shams El Din, Percussion. The three musicians picked up the situations so great, that you could directly
imagine to live in that past time.
Find below some pictures of this concert. Unfortunately it was not possible to make a video during this concert. But we have theese musicions here
again for another concert at the 3rd of august, may I'll take then one.
If there are some interested to take part in the workshops, this is still possible.
About the percussion workshop I have the additional information, that we will be shown there the replacement of the skin of some riqqs. Actually 3
instruments will be here to be repaired.
Would be nice to meet you here in the academy.
