Does anybody know if there is a good published book of Turkish sheet music for a lot of the older Turkish folk music? i.e, Hastayim Yasiyorum,
Telegrafin Teleri, Cile Bulbulum, etc. I have found quite a bit of the sheet music for the classical/Ottoman music (http://www.neyzen.com/nota_arsivi.htm is pretty incredible), but I have not found much for the folk music. Any help is greatly appreciated.

page of the file sharing section of Mikes site.

Hi guys,
I wish I could help with that, but I don't really have any Turkish folk songs written out. I do have some Greek folk songs in some books, if
either of you are interested, which sometimes overlap with Turkish songs.
Sorry couldn't be of more help guys,
mav

Thanks, Haluk. I really appreciate it. Two of my favorite songs. My knowledge of Turkish is pretty small, so I love having the lyrics. Most of the
time, I have to just keep listening to the records over and over and over again to try to decipher the lyrics. Can I ask you where you got this sheet
music? Is it from Türk Mûsikîsi Eserleri 4.0 Repertuar, Nota Arşivi ve Nota Download Programı (YENİ? Do you sell that download program? I couldn't quite figure out how to order
it, but it looks like it has thousands of Turkish songs on it.
Again, thanks a lot.

ı don't sell that program.I am member of Turk Musikisi Org,I requested that songs and one of the members sent me the notes.I don't know
yet,how much will cost to download program but there are too much songs in it.
Regards.

Hi Jonathon,
For Turkish Folk music sheets free try this site - <http://www.turkuler.com/nota/turkuler.asp>.
It is all in Turkish but is fairly easy to navigate.

Wow--that is a great site. Anybody that loves Turkish music should check it out. I love the fact that they often include the location of origin of
the song--that is just great.
Also, Haluk, thanks again. I ended up joining Turk Musikisi Org as well, and saw your message. You are a class act to go out of your way like that.
My Turkish is pretty limited, but again, thanks a lot.
