new floating bridge Model 2011 - played by Mohamed Abozekry/Cairo

Hello friends,

here I want to present you my new floating bridge Aoud model. After a good planning time I can present you an instrument with the following measurements:

• string length 57 cm
  
• 3 open sound holes: D-shape or oval
  
• rosewood body with 25 ribs - spacers on request
  
• soundboard european spruce with purfling
  
• rosewood fingerboard
  
• pegbox maple venered
  
• pegs: boxwood, plumwood or ebony
  
• frensh polishing on the mould
  

This first instrument of the new model is already sold and it is in very good hands:
it is now played by Mohamed Abozekry from Cairo, the student of Naseer Shamma. His tour dates you will find on my webpage for this model
