Here is another famous Turkish piece transposed to Arabic / Western tuning.
I play Arabic oud but also love Turkish and Persian styles.
I don't see any reason why not to play Samai' or Bashraf' by Turkish (or composers from other nationalities) in the Arabic style.
The old Ottoman music included composers from many different ethnic backgrounds, and many famous pieces by Armenian and Turkish composers (etc) are
commonly played in Arabic speaking countries.
I also have recordings of Arabic pieces, Samai' etc, played by Turkish and Armenian musicians..
The Al Kindi Ensemble are a major inspiration to me.
