Hi S
This oud is now a different sound to others you have made and shown on here ... to my ears it is more mature and complex and balanced given it is just
1 week old ... the shape looks a little more rounded at the bottom end also.
Sounds great - wonderful playing (is that you or did you bring reinforcements in to help you out )
Very nice

Very nice Sabbassi thank you for sharing this with us.

Hi L
Yes you right aout the player. it was the new owner of the oud. he was very happy with it.
it is also different from other ouds because there is no shellac applied this time on the top and ofcourse the player add extra sweetness
there may be other reasons like different type of braces, bowl wood etc, but in general I recognise the sound genre of tmy ouds and this one is not
far from it.
and yes, this brazilian ironwood is so crisp and mature too.
thanks

Hi Samir
It certainly sounds like one of your ouds, I wasn't suggesting it doesn't - maybe its the recording, who's the player? - lovely stuff. I admire your
craft and art and sense it developing nicely.

Well done, I'm impressed, bravo Samir !
More photos, especially a profile one, are needed.
The same with the rosettes
