I just wanted to share that our ensemble was asked to perform at the Egyptian embassy for a diner in honor of Egyptian embassador, Sameh Shoukri who
will be there. We're asked to perform one set during diner and another set for an audience setting.
While I should be proud of such an honor, it's actually a quite humbling feeling as we approach the date, Saturday Oct 22.
Our ensemble will be myself on oud, Jonathan (tabla), Jon (riqq), Kylie (qanoon) and Meesha (vocal). We will be performing traditional Egyptian
music.
