Many thanks to my friend and mentor, Souheil Younes, whose instruction, guidance, tips have brought me to where I am today in oud performance. I took
his advise to "emrace and take advantage of as many opportunities that are given to perform as this is one of the best ways to improve in skill."
With that I would like to share some videos that were taken by my friend, Ken Morrill, of our performance at the Egyptian Embassy. Although, we
appear to be performing in an empty room, there were at least 200 people walking and talking accross the room as they waited for the Egyptian
ambassador and the diplomats to arrive.
I was using my oud made by master luthier Nazih Ghadban.
