these sheets are very hard to find
I think I have two of them (Katinaki & Elenaki) , and I will try to send you
this is a very good book with old rembetiko songs on Arabic notation
Hi.
Thanks.
This book looks really good, even if the language is Greek, I can still play the scores.
Never heard of this book, it looks very interesting.
I really like this particular style of maqam music.

Spartan,
Do you know what songs are in that book? Couldnt find them on the website.
Looks like an amazing book. Been looking for something like this for a while. Are the tunes westernised, i.e. have they taken the quarter tones
out?

Hi.
I agree.
Unfortunately there are very very few people in NZ who play the oud or any maqam based music at all.
I was fortunate to have an Egyptian oud teacher, but he is back in Cairo.
As I have the recordings, learning some of the pieces should be OK.
