I apologize for reposting this, but I posted in the recordings subforum and it doesn't seem like as people check there as often.
I've posted clips before of my Arabic-Jazz band, Nashaz . . . we are working on recording an album and are trying to raise the funds to make that
happen on Kickstarter. Thanks so much to everyone who has already pledged their support!
People have pledged nearly $4400 so far, but we are still $600 short of meeting our goal by the Saturday deadline. If we don't reach our
goal, no money changes hands and no music gets recorded.
At the basic level, a pledge is essentially a pre-order of the album: $10 gets you a digital download, $16 gets you a CD. There are a bunch of other
options, including musician packages with copies of all the sheet music, etc.
Of course what we're doing isn't traditional and I don't expect everyone to be interested in this music, but if you like what we're doing and want to
see this music recorded, please click on the link below and consider joining in. Everything helps, even if it's just $1. Even if you can't
contribute anything, if you know someone you think might be interested, please consider sharing the link.
