Good News.
We have upgraded our "iPhone Oud Tuner" and now it will work also with iOS 4. It means that all of you out there that have old iphone (with older
version) will be able to download it. We have improved the graphics and the sound also.

Yes, definitely. I would also need the Android version. Nice to hear that is already being worked on but can you tell us when it will be released
approximately?Arab Instrument - 9-6-2012 at 08:03 PM
Hey
Thank you for your feedback.
We are just on the beginning with the Android.
We will update you once it will close to the end.

Unfortunately the current version does not work on older iPhones with iOS 3. I use the fully chromatic Pano tuner that works with all versions of the
OS, and can be set for different temperaments.

You right. We didn't do it for iOS 3 since we faced many problems on the graphics and on the animation at this version.
It will work at iOS 4 and iOS 5
I know that app and it's a quite good one but I prefer using gStrings Free. It's very recommandable and moreover free as well. However, the problem with all these free tuner apps is that they don't recognise
microtunes, which are particularly important in oriental music.Edward Powell - 9-9-2012 at 03:29 PM
Not advisable to use iPhones at all... these thing are notorious for giving off a lot of harmful microwave radiation.

Good chromatic tuners like Pano's not only show "microtones", but also allow you to use a temperament of your choice for the note centers.
If you have an old iPhone (that has the analog i/o on the connector that allows recording from something like the Blue Mikey), you can turn off all
the potentially harmful radios and just use it for music. There are excellent mini-DAWs, for instance a great 8 track for $10:
