hello everybody!
I tried a lavta some time ago and there was something in the sound, in comparaison to oud, that I really liked. I'm not so interested in tanbur style
frets (surely because i'm kind of lost) and wanted to ask you if somebody had one time tried or listened to a fretless lavta?
what was it like? is it interesting or not at all?
my thought is that maybe it would be better also tuned in fourth if its fretless
.

I had already seen this lavoud (wich I found really gorgeous)
but I think that the thing that made the sound of the lavta interesting to me was the length and the strength of the strings
it felt like more responsive and vibrating than a oud
did somebody felt the same with lavta?
