Hi every one ,
i would like to share with you the oud i received from the great oudmaker Magdy MOUSSA.As i am not a good player i can't post a soundfile yet but the
oud already has a very deep and warm arabic sound.I am impressed about everything (finishing,workmanship and the kindness of Mr MOUSSA!!!!!).

Mabrouk alik, Samir, for your new oud , i really like the sound. I don't have pictures of his workshop but i will ask him for you if it is
possible.
thanks suz-i-dil and Erg , i really like the sound, day after day, and for the moment with cheap strings,no buzzing even if the oud is new and very
easy and comfortable to play.The pictures don't show how this oud is beautiful i will try to post some better pictures soon. I am so happy!!!

luthiers. I am completely stunned out by the beauty and elegance of the instument and the unique amazing grain of the back rosewood. I have heard the
recording of Ameer`s(a twin of yours) which sounds as you said deep warm and very arabic and Iam sure yours is as good

What about the sound ?
One thing needs to be clarified once and for good: Does Michael Mousa make ouds by himself or by employees he's hiring .
I've heard the man is a doctor in the first place. Is he ?

Yes he is a Doctor and he is a one man show. He learnt to build from his father. His Ouds are fantastic and I hope when I get round to replacing my
Oud shaped hole I will speak with him. And as DORADO says his kindness and generosity cannot be overestimated, he is a treasure to the oud world, a
fantastic builder/player/composer and an absolute gentleman.
