Hi Alex, congrats on completing your first bowl.. Its a milestone in itself. Please tell me what the pattern scheme on this bowl is. I see different
colors . Is that dye or different kinds of wood?

Thank you kindly. All colors are natural pieces of wood, I used no dyes, but since the store in San Diego that carries these types of wood ribs is
very limited, I was not able to do all 1 or 2 colors. There were mistakes made as it was very difficult since I didnt have all the necessary
equipment, but believe me, I have learned from certain mistakes I made and now my next goal is to finish it and hope that it has a decent sound, if
not it will be hung on the wall and I will plan on my second one.
I also ended up buying a router in order to inlay the banding strips, which kind of gave it a face lift. I will post more photos as I go.

for a first oud bowl its a great effort.
Also its very unique this oud, it looks like it was signed by Zoro!
You have the right attitude. finish this first one and learn from your mistakes for the next one.
