Hi! It is with great joy that I would like to share this video with the forum.
This video shows all of the major stages of a recent Turkish style oud build, from rough sawn log to completed instrument.
It is a well-made video, put together by journalism students at the local University. I think they did an awesome job with camera angles, editing
etc.
I owe a HUGE debt of gratitude and respect to forum members, for inspiring, guiding, teaching, interacting and sharing enthusiasm since I started on
here in 2005. I can name specifically: Jameel, Samir, Carpenter, Peyman, muhrvis, jdowning, Dr. Oud, but there are many others along the way.
Thanks, and please enjoy:

Very cool video Josh! The production quality is great and I like how you kept the center cut outs of your tops. Like a memento of each instrument you
made.
It's also cool to see the different techniques everyone has to make ouds. The pegbox cut from one piece using compound angle cuts is the coolest thing
ever. I am gonna try that next.

Thanks Samir!
It's great to see you have got more into building yourself! Your blog is awesome.
