Hello dear forum members!
Can anybody tell me the difference between the standard and professional cumbus?
Is the professional one the one that's engraved with nice decorations?
Does this affect the sound?

Hi, this is a very late reply, but I just saw your posting. I recently bought a "regular" Zeynel Abidin cümbüş locally from a friend musician,
it is the aluminum pot one, and it's nicely engraved and decorated. From the manufacturer's web site the "extra" has a wooden resonator.
Not sure if this what you call a "professional" model. Note that this instrument was created to be something everybody could afford, and when you look
for videos on YouTube, almost everybody uses the simple regular model.
In any case it's lots of fun to play, and sure is a conversation piece.
