I am reading Simon Montefiore's really interesting biography of Jerusalem.
There is a whole chapter about Wasif Jawahariyyeh, a Palestinian oud player who is significant inthemodern history of the city because he wrote a
published decades worth do memoirs of living with and interacting with all the different ethnic groups of the city.
It also mentions that he made some recordings which I would be most interested in hearing. Does anybody know where these can be heard?
