1) Abu Alaa's real name is Yousef Abu Faidy Abu Hosein. Bashir is his second son, who usually helps him finishing his newly
built ouds. He's an expert in furniture dyeing .
2) This oud was made for Mi'dad Abu Rokon, as the rosette says. A new rosette should replace the existing. I suggest you'd add a rosette of
yours like this one here: http://www.arabinstruments.com/112730/Oud-Rosettes-Set.
3) The bowl is not African walnut. This wood has been displayed several times in the past, like this one here: http://www.mikeouds.com/messageboard/viewthread.php?tid=14016#pid95...
4) Looks like a nice oud & fair price, especially with free shipping worldwide.
Was I looking for a new oud, I would have grab it after hearing its sound. What about a soundfile ?
Mabrouk for the lucky buyer
Yours indeed

Thank you very much for your comments Alfaraby.
We hope we will be able to provide sound sample soon (in case the oud will not sold before we will make it).
Thanks again

Don't thank me, my friend ! Thank Abu Alaa for this beauty !
Don't forget to correct the name, both here and @ your site. It's called Abu Alaa's oud not Bashir, with due respect to the young lad !
Good luck
Yours indeed

I second Alfaraby's request for a sound sample.
