I just transposed an old piece in maqam Hisar from Owen Wrights Cantemir book (Vol 1).
A while ago there was a conversation about this..

Interesting maqam, I decided to call this 'Hisar Qadim' (old Hisar).
By the way, the rhythm is not too bad, mostly difficult for the riqq player 
.
My friend Doug is amazing on the riqq, thankfully.

I made a minor adjustment (Ed - segah note in brackets on top line).
Just Trying to be consistent.

I like the piece as well.
These old maqamat / pieces are really interesting.
