Hi Everyone, hope you are well
My name is Haider and i've been playing Oud for about 3 years now, my father recently came back from Baghdad and acquired an oud that belonged to my
grandfathers cousin we initially thought it was a mohammed fadhel oud but on later inspection we looked inside and found the label to read ''Ali al
-Ajmi and sons'' from what his wife told us he acquired the oud when he was around 16/17 and with his date of birth being around 1921/22 i have dated
the oud to be around late 1930's or early 1940's can someone give me more information on the maker or the value of the oud, i have been told it is
very rare.
