Hi - this is a new wood sarod, one of FOUR new ones I recently built or am building. after delivering the original wood sarod to Arnab he was really
happy with it so he began spreading the work and suddenly sarod players are ordering them fast...
This particular wood sarod is shorter and higher pitched than normal therefore it sounds a bit more like a guitar than a sarod LOL
I watched a video of this last night . Aside from the higher tuning, very difficult to tell from traditional sarod. Sounds great!Edward Powell - 10-1-2014 at 03:30 PM

wait for tomorrow I will post a vid of another "wood sarod" I just completely with an oud type back but a SKIN (tunable) top! Now THIS really sounds
like a sarod
