Hi dear oud brothers,
For your consideration is my recently completed Classic Walnut Oud, made in the tradition of the great Lebanese and Syrian oud makers. I am asking for
$1500 for this oud, please feel free to contact me if you are interested.

Some details about the oud.
It is made from walnut in alternating sapwood and heartwood patterns.
the Engelmann spruce soundboard is 1.5mm to 1.7mm and braced in a light traditional way.
the construction is made entirely of hide glue.
the various inlay and edge banding are made of maple, bubinga and walnut.
Gabon Ebony is used on the fingerboard and the pegs.
the rosettes are made of a maple-walnut ply and have been hand painted.
The string length is 61.5 cm, Arabic scale.
the Action measures at 2.5mm for ease of play.
11 strings, C to c.
width is 37.5cm
bowl depth is 18.5cm
weight is 0.96Kg or 2.2lbs

The strings are labella lute strings, talk to brian prunka (oudstrings.com) he will hook you up.

The weakening Canadian dollar allows me to further reduce the price of my latest oud.
$1500 shipping included in North America.
I will be adding some more pictures since I have done some final touches like adding a collar around the neck joint and I have also refined the fit of
the pegs.
I will also try to make a new video in the next week or 2. its really a stunning sounding oud and it should be in a musician's hands.
