Does anyone have experience dealing with Emir Degirmenli? The quest continues and I'm reaching out to a couple of luthiers across the pond and then

I've been questioning Emir recently about his ouds, he send me pics and sounds files of his freshly build ouds a few later, which were great, but not
the sound i'm looking for...

"Questioning" is a good way to put it. Having been on both sides of the equation I know the questions can seem never ending. But, when making a
purchase like this the "devil is in the details.!"

like frank, i received few pics and a sound sample from Emir after asking him about his arabic ouds. he sent me detailed price information also.
hakan indeed plays Emir oud.
Emir's turkish tuned ouds sound very nice
