I was fortunate to be able to attend the Australian premiere of The Australian Chamber Orchestra's Four Seasons' concert tour (Brisbane Australia Feb
9).
Of course, Joe and James Tawadros have had several collaborations with the ACO and this concert is a wonderful example of how Arabic and Baroque music
can meld together beautifully. Joe also performs some of his own works using arrangements orchestrated by ACO director Richard Tognetti.
The concert is being performed around Australia over the next couple of weeks. The dates can be seen at https://www.aco.com.au/whats_on/events
I have attached a photo of the sartorially splendid Joe taken whilst he and James were signing CDs and programmes after the concert. He is looking a
little like a 21st century Acker Bilk ;-)

Nice shot Greg. He may look Acker Bilk in the concert hall, but he'd look stranger on the shore.

Hey I really liked that Greater Sea clip...any links to check out this latest work?
Wish I could just fly to OZ & hear it in person

Much of the music Joe and James played at the ACO concert was from the latest album "Permission To Evaporate", recorded in New York with Christian
McBride, Mike Stern and Matt McMahon.
If you haven't yet seen it, you may enjoy this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rhp-IpRPxIs
Enjoy!
