I received my first Oud today... It is Oud #965 made by Nazih Ghadban... I am very excited to get it... it has a very nice sound...wonderful action
and tone.... if you have ever checked out his website it is the Oud used to make the sound file at the beginning of his Flash site opening... I will
post a pic of it in a day or two...
I am new to the instrument and am looking forward to experimenting and learning to play such a wonderful instrument...
There is nothing like your first Oud... such a magical instrument

Oud 965 is a very beautiful instrument. I played it last July at Mr Ghadban's workshop in Ras Baalbek. It almost came back to Australia with me,
but I could only afford one and I wanted a Bashir model.
Oud 966, which is similar to yours, was recently purchased by Australian, Chris Yost.
