I purchased an Oud from Arabinstruments.com.. this one to be exact,

I was wondering what other peoples experience with these Ouds has been? I know it won't be top of the line quality, but I am hoping they will be
decent. I am primarily a guitar player, trying to expand my horizons.

I've never tried one myself but I hear they are good instruments.
You won't know for sure until you try it though

Same here.
stupidly purchase an oud of ebay the seller Misusult, bridge fell off while tuning the 3rd string, and the top board is 1mm thick... expensive wall
decoration now.
just bought an oud from arabinstruments and I really hope it sounds like the sample and is solidly built...
anyone had a similar experience??
