Hi all,
This is my first post. Apologies if this topic has already been covered in another thread.
I've been playing the oud for about 5 months now and loving every minute of it. I'm holidaying in Cairo for 5 days over Easter and I was wondering if
any of you had any general oud-related tips for the city...
Could be anything at all- recommended shops and luthiers, places to buy a good risha (i assume they'd have them in the oud shops, but yeah), places
where i might be able to catch a good performance, any info on Naseer Shamma's Beit al Oud i've heard so much about...?
Any advice/info would be much appreciated.
