It's actually written underneath the video on YouTube.

"Eve Dönüş" which means "Return to Home"

Yes -- I tried punching that in to a Google search and only got images of a movie. Thanks for the clarification -- I will try again, searching as you posted, with the umlauts & thingamajig on the "s."

Istanbul Oriental Ensemble makes it clear that "Eve Dönüş" is a traditional song. So it might be just a matter of Googling transcriptions till you get somewhere if it's "anon".

I have Google searched "Eve Dönüş" both web and images, and searched a half-dozen of the bigger on-line Turkish nota arşivler and didn't find the nota. This is the first time I ever looked for a Turkish classical or folk song of any significance and not found the nota on the web.

Is it possible that it's also known under a different name?

Thanks,
"Udi" John

Parev Hartun,

I've listened to the track a couple of times. It sounds somewhat familiar. Is it possibly of Arabic, rather than Anatolian original?

Peace out,
