This oud was purchased for me by a person who was working in Iran in the 1980s during the Shah's time. I played it for some years but eventually gave
up due to the demands of job, family, etc. It has not been strung tightly for probably 20 years. I live in Baltimore. While I can understand that a
buyer might want to first hear the oud with new strings tuned to pitch, I'm not sure how that could be arranged. I have many more photos that I can
email if you are interested, and also many of the tag inside if someone can read Farsi. The only English language word is NARIMAN, which is also the
name of an Iranian oud player and so may indicate some style. The oud is of medium size, and apart from minor blemishes is in fine condition. Under
the circumstances, I will not advertise a price, since if someone buys it "on faith" without being able to hear it with fresh strings I would accept
less that I would from someone local who can string and test it. But $600 would be a "buy now" price and I could handle shipping charges within the
USA.

I have four questions please. What is the length from nut to bridge (the length of the vibrating string)? Can you also please say the width across
the top (soundboard) at its widest? And what is the depth of the bowl ? Is there a case?
thank you.
