THey are very different, it's not easy to explain with words. The relation with a musical instrument is something personal.
Türünz ouds (i had 3, one reduced price turkish, one dbl soundboard turkish and one dbl soundboard arabic) have more sustain and in their way more
perfect in term of balance.
But Aktel oud has something special that makes it feel like an old friend.
It has a kind of personal voice that i like a lot, something very sweet and deep.
I play in tune more easily and the ideas flow in my mind.
