Dears all, do you know how to get in touch with Mohamed Gaafar? I heard and read something about him even on this forum, though all where older posts.
Does anybody has any new contact from him?
And would somebody know what kind of instrument Hazem Shaheen may use? I bet that mostly comes out from his great touch, but I really like the sound
of his instrument.

I never personnaly met but his work was really much appreciated in beit so oud when I was there, in 2005.
Problem it was difficult to get an oud from him because he doesn't produce very much.
Issa Murad plays an oud of Gaafar on stage.
For Hazem Shaheen, last videos I have seen he was playing an oud from Ali al Ibrahim. After a very convincing but short production it seems
(unfortunately for us !) he stopped building ouds

Hi Hazem shaheen has a lot of ouds , i saw him recently playing a yarob fadel and a mahmoud mostafa oud, they all sound amazingly good
