Well... now's a good a time as any to tell you all about the oudist with Kan Zaman... Afif Taian. You may remember him from such films as

afif reminds me of the old oud players, Farido, Qasbji, etc.. u can see the joy on his face while he is playing oud, and this is an important thing.
also his taqaseem FULL of tarab, which is rare these days, becuse most of the oud players these are playing oud for "Show-off", and they
forget the tarab part.
defntly he is my 2nd fav oud player these days after abadi.

Yeah, I totally agree with you elrabee3. He is really outstanding. You know he just had a baby girl. Her name is Lindsey. Mabrouk to him and his wife.
