Hello.
I am part of a music project/group/band called Zini. We try to mix traditional forms of music and instruments from around the world with more modrrn
genres like Rock and pop.
We release our debut album later this year and put out a new song from it last weekend.
It is a fairly heavy rock song but features the Oud, an Armenian Duduk and some Darbuka.
It may not be the most conventional way of using the instrument, and the rest of the album has more Oud-orienred songs, but it is a fun experiment
none the less.
Hi Filip,
me, as a non-traditionalist, enjoyed it very much!!
Keep up your work and keep on sharing it.

Hi Filip, I really really liked this fusion of hard rock and middle-eastern instruments. It's the sort of sound that I really like. I'd like to buy
your album! When is the release date?charlie oud - 1-8-2017 at 08:52 AM
Hi Filip. Very good indeed, great track. We need more of this inclusion of the Oud in western music. Bravo.FilipHolm - 3-14-2017 at 03:12 PM
