While not a perfect fit, my Shehata fits just fine... had to use a piece of foam to support the neck and a thin piece to protect the pegbox.Ronny Andersson - 11-22-2016 at 02:00 PM
You can find some of the most well- known lute case makers here: lute case
Gocauo can you please post the URL again? I keep getting this page not available error.
Thank you
Weird... it works for me... Try searching for 'Hand Made Strings' and look under the 'People' tab, they are in IstabulMatthias - 11-24-2016 at 04:39 AM
Hello,
I offer custom made hard cases for oud and any other instruments in my shop. Have a look here:
After having cases from Germany for over 25 year, I was sad that this factory finished some time ago. But I found the above solution. That are wooden
cases with black cover and a plush interiour. The cases are made especially for every single instrument. So it fits verry well. The weight is a bit
less than 4 Kg. I have been travelling several times with them and had them also in the cabin in the luggage box.
Best regards

Those are nice cases... had I known about your cases, I would have seriously considered one of these...
I may still consider buying one for the 'custom' fit... Humam - 11-25-2016 at 11:25 AM
Thank you very much Gocauo. I will try that.
