I would like to spread the word about the 6th Annual Turkish Music Institute Workshop that's happening again in Midtown Manhattan in NYC between April
3-7. These workshops are put on by the organization Makam New York, a non-profit organization. As usual the cast of teachers is phenomenal and is
really to be taken advantage of by anyone (of any level) with an interest in Turkish makam music.

on practical use of music theory, intonation, and modal repertoire analysis and interpretation taught by world-renowned master teachers.
